- A fully structured and highly time-tested programme using the ABACUS for solving arithmetic functions.
- Targeted for children within the age group of 5-13, as it is proved that the mental development of a child is at its peak in this age group.
- Designed to develop the whole brain, especially the right hemisphere. Scientific research reveals that a very small percentage of people use their right brain and those who use it, are bound to be very successful.
- Helps the children to acquire unique problem solving skills which last for a lifetime.
- The programme is based on the Zhusuan Methodology, originated in China.
- Thousands of R & D professors in China and Japan are working on this project to improve and further understand this ancient art.
- It is also the only programme approved and certified by the two major Mental Arithmetic and Abacus institutes of the world, the Chinese Utility Abacus Research Society (Taiwan) and Taiwan Mental Arithmetic Association.
Programme Duration
- The program is divided into 8 terms.
- Each term has 12 classes taught over 3 months.
- Children are taught once a week for two hours, which can be either a single class lasting two hours or it can be split into two one-hour classes.
- Total program duration is about 24 months and does not clash with school timing or curriculum in any way.
Examination, Grading & Certification
- An exam will be conducted at the end of each term. The duration of this exam will be of 10-15 minutes. The students will need to secure at least 60% to qualify for the next level
- These exams will be graded at our head office in Malaysia once a year. 60% and above qualifies as a Pass, whilst 70% and above shall be graded accordingly.
- A national competition will be organized on a yearly basis. This will
help the students to know where they stand on a national level.
